When you talk about a kind of donut frying fat will have something with a high smoke point, if peanut oil is so good. I use olive oil for everything else but not whether your recipes that use olive oil tasting donuts, have weird taste.

Peanut oil is good for some things, because it burns so good to resist for its fried chicken and things, but for this kind of donuts they will not hurt to use canola oil. It will be nice.
